E.V.R.A. European Festival Regatta Day:
THE RACE COURSE:
“Cascais is one of the best regatta sites in the world." - The top specialists - from Russell Coutts to Ed Baird and Paul Cayard - say so.
And in this very spot, where many international events took place, You will have the chance to show everyone that rugby players are exactly the type of crew we need to win sailing races.
Cascais was the venue for (amongst many): the 2007 world sailing championships, in every Olympic class; T52 Audi Med Cup and many more.
Not only the sailing conditions are fantastic, but also the Organization - along with the Marina and its services - will assure that you will feel safe and learning some sailor skills. Even if it is your first time!
THE BOATS:
These Yachts (10m) are absolutely fantastic for beginners. Their design and structure are prepared for competition performances but at a very easy way. Ideal for fun in a very competitive way.
The Maximum Capacity per Yacht is 7 guests.
THE PROGRAM:
Incorporating both sides of our popular match racing and hospitality days, the Regatta Day is a pleasant mix of both excitement and relaxation.
Each team will meet their skipper for the day’s sailing. Your first steps aboard will be spent getting to know your yacht and how she sails, with expert tuition given to you by your Skipper. By 15:00 the 1st race of the day will commence, summoning up that friendly rivalry.
Your day could be rounded off with an afternoon drink back at the yacht club together with a prize-giving ceremony for your teams.

Prices: 150,00 € / person, for the Regatta including: Pick up Transfer and Return from the Meeting Points / Water aboard / Insurance / Dry Jackets

Special Notes:
1. To book your name as participant you should fill the Club Check List and mark "YES" for Regatta (do not hesitate to ask us)
2. The Format and schedule of the Regatta may be changed due to Sponsor demands and / or number of participants. The Organization will keep the participants updated.
3. All the participants should have basic swimming skills.
